Way to get broadband?

There is only dial up in the area i live in, but would there be any options to buy an antenna or something or any other way to get broadband in my neighborhood? Willing to pay mostly anything for this ****. Had dialup for last friggen 7 years im the only one of my friends with no xbox-live and a slow connection. My parent's friends live exactly 1 mile down the road and have broadband connection. Please, any possiblities or suggestions for me?
