What should I major in if I'm interested in computers and information science?

I have an interest in information sciences...information architecture, in design and organization. The field of librarianship intrigues me but it's not a well paying field plus it's being integrated into more technological roles. Would I need to study for my undergrad a computer science degree? My school does not have an Information Science degree.
