Can you read and revise this paragraph?
What is an "end user"? An end user is the person who utilizes an object for the purpose it was created. In prehistoric times, human beings discovered at some point, that it was easier to kill an animal with a pointed stick. They created, and became the end user of that pointed stick. Over eons of time, human beings have continually upgraded their weapons as different processes were discovered until now we have laser-aimed weapons that can stun or kill with efficiency. The same evolution ocurred with all tools, whether they were used as a means of defense or domesticity. The drive to create better tools is inherent in human beings. Sometimes it is based in need and at other times it is based in "I can do better than this" thinking. This used to be done primarily by skilled crafts people working as individuals, but because the financial resources limited the individual's work, companies were formed. This not only allowed a faster rate of evolution, but allowed the masses access to the tools created, not just the privilaged few. Today, thanks to technology that allowed machines to be made that do much of the work, advancement in tools for end users is evolving faster than anytime in history. A perfect example of this would be personal computers. An argument could be made that all of this has not benefitted human beings as it causes too much unpaid free time. But it may also be argued that this maybe the threshhold of advancing civilization past the point where a person needs to labor to live. In the interim, end users will continue to benefit from tool evolution.
