What does Logmein load into your computer?

I have dialup. It used to be reasonably quick service. Now just to get to MyComputers page it loads in some 5MB. I know it is secure protocol but actually what type of data is that 5MB is? It seems hopeless - just to show the computer list and some button graphics and maybe some scripting and CSS it wants to load 5MB. The browser is hanged up for most of that process. Actually, the very remote control window is a lot faster (behaves normal even on dialup).
