Which army was the strongest ever?

The United Kingdom Had the Biggest Empire ever which was supported by a very well trained army, navy and air force. The British empire at its height owned just under a quarter of the worlds land mass due to its incredibly well trained and disciplined armed forces. The Brits were also pioneers of military technology such as the First Tank, The Dreadnought Ships, The Bouncing Bomb, The gas mask, The list goes on... They fought countless wars against many countries. They have also procured some amazing bits of kit such as the Lee-Enfield SMLE Rifle, The Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank, The Apache Longbow and many, many more. It may not have the biggest army but it is the most well trained and most disciplined in the world. Some may say the US army due to its sheer size but i disagree. Britain has a track record of a great army with great training and kit. The Nazis did occupy many countries but it bit off more than it could chew making it rather shoddy.
